Question about licorice vs. anise?
I am trying to get some real licorice and I bought the panda brand, but it says both licorice extract and anise seed on the ingredient list. Do you think this is real licorice? Is there any brand you know of that does not have anise? Thanks.
Anise is licorice. Anise is the plant licorice is made from it. If it doesn’t have anise it is imitation.
